Baptist Mid-Missions' World Relief funds provide immediate relief in emergency situations around the world. Funds are used to alleviate human suffering resulting from catastrophic disasters such as war, famine, drought, flood, wind, explosion, and terrorist attacks. Missionaries and nationals use these unparalleled opportunities to present the gospel in conjunction with providing life-sustaining supplies. Times of turmoil and human suffering have proven an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ in word and deed. Many people who were previously hardened to the gospel have seen the genuineness of their countrymen's faith and have trusted in Christ. The use of relief funds is carefully reported.
How can we prepare for the next emergency? Our World Relief Fund is replenished by designated gifts from concerned Christians. All gifts designated for BMM World Relief are used for this outreach.
